yeah this is unfortunate. And true about all the sideload w/o jail break solutions I’m aware of.
I don’t like the fact it takes government to push them, hopefully in 2024 eu forces apple to allow official side-loading, I suspect their retort might require devs to pay for a pricy certificate like on the Mac, and “open anyways” buttons. But it shouldn’t require multiple apple products.
It already is… you can’t access safari extensions from a pwa added to the Home Screen, and would bet that the same will apply with add to dock on the Mac.
I do wonder if it didn’t ship with bootstrap relays, and was presented as byo relays like an rss reader with out recommended sources, they would even be aware of zaps, and might not have required delete account & report.
is this really about the money or will non zap clients start taking punches over speech?

I wish there was a really solid, metaphorically iPod touch, with a flagship processor… but didn’t make me buy yet another crazy camera.
snort has a mute all button when you look at muted on others accounts, not quite the same because it just mixes it in with yours… ideally you could try on a list, receive updates, and back out if those updates were not what you signed up for.
