Yeah I think so. Kinda like doing a chargeback with your credit card. I guess the merchants would need internet access to prevent this. Customers won’t need internet access though.

Right now I think everyone on npub.cash uses the minibits mint. Npub.cash clearly displays a warning that it’s just a proof of concept though.
this means you could have a farmers market in the middle of nowhere with no internet connection and people could just pay each other digitally with nuts 😂
did you know that you can even claim nuts without an internet connection? i just moved the nuts in my npub.cash account to my eNuts wallet while my phone was in airplane mode to test.

I think it’s safe to say that I snagged the best npub.cash username 😂
The tradeoff is it improves privacy and you can do things like give everyone on nostr a wallet without even requiring people to sign up. You can also do offline payments.
It’s just another no kyc option that you don’t even need to sign up for. Every npub can receive payments.
