Find somewhere you enjoy going to and beco e a regular. Eventually you'll find other regulars. And likely they'll have at least one or twos similar interests if they're frequenting the same place as you.
Just say hi and talk to random ppl. You never know what fate will bring.
I would "tour" each organization, group, and club available to see what each one is about, and also let people know that I'm new to the area.
If they come over for tea, I might consider giving them an antidote too. 😜
