Building with RFID and the Bitcoin Community. Pleb node runner and miner. Christ is King. ✝️⚡🏡

regex is amazing. It's incredible what you can do with parsing a text file with awk and regex, for example.

Grandchild #8, Arlo, was born today. All is well. #blessed #grateful

When people live in fear they make irrational decisions. So do governments. We need to embrace #Bitcoin    , not try to stamp it out.

Choosing #Bitcoin  is our modern Declaration of Independence

Opinion: People who frequently drop f bombs are fiat-minded: lazy, high time-preference vocabulary.

You need these western Pennsylvania hills. I hit 10 floors in the first 10 minutes of my lunch walk. 😀

It’s interesting that #[0] now charges a fee to fund via debit card. So, to use #Lightning in a tax inconsequential way, I both lose my credit card rewards and pay a fee. This is a negative incentive shift. Thoughts #[2] ?

It’s interesting to contemplate the impact of higher base-layer fees on the Lightning Network. It definitely pushes on the small nodes to not open channels (the fees are paid by the one who opens the channel).

Miners are bumping up machines to high-performance mode with the high fees right now. Thankful that #Bitcoin is resilient!

I zap ⚡ my age. When I'm 77 in 20 years, some people will get some nice zaps!

Hey #[0] are there any wallets that support Bolt 12 offers yet?

Oh, self-esteem, what a sham you are!

The concept seems simple enough. Think highly of yourself, and you'll feel fantastic! But wait, when you have low self-esteem, you feel terrible. So, it must be that thinking highly of yourself is the key to happiness! But hold on, because this logic is just plain absurd. Yet, we've been bombarded with this pop-psych gibberish for over 50 years, so it's no wonder people have bought into it.

Here's the truth: if you're feeling crummy about yourself, it's probably because your conscience is giving you a reality check. You've messed up, and deep down, you know you don't deserve to feel all warm and fuzzy.

But the self-esteem fanatics insist: cut yourself some slack, relax, forgive yourself. What a crock!

When you've done something wrong, pretending you're a saint won't fix anything. In fact, it'll just make everything worse. You'll end up suppressing your conscience, and that requires some heavy-duty anesthesia. You'll find yourself drowning that pesky inner voice with addictions, anything from hard drugs to workaholism. But the truth remains: you can't ignore that voice forever.

So, let's call self-esteem what it really is: self-delusion. You should feel good about yourself when you are, in fact, a good person. And you become a good person through good deeds. Someone scamming others shouldn't be strutting around like they're on top of the world.

So, let's kick the self-esteem charade to the curb and embrace a new mantra: actions speak louder than words. Forget about coddling yourself with empty platitudes, and focus on being the best version of yourself through meaningful actions. Strive for character, virtue, and self-reflection built on a foundation of doing, not feeling. Say goodbye to the self-esteem hoax and say hello to a life built on real accomplishments.

Your conscience will thank you.

Or, if you’re feeling crummy about yourself, go create value.

Just asked my team of 7 to install #[0] (WoS) so I can zap them some sats for things well done. Or, to reinforce that I’m not the “chief reminder officer”, ask them for sats if I do need to remind them too often. (Hopefully, zapping them way more than asking!) Circular economy stuff! Spend at our local Loafer’s Bread Co. (see video), or bitrefill.com, etc. Send some sats my way if you want to help! I’ll be a conduit for anything you send. :zap: https://photos.app.goo.gl/oN4s7VwvrfCKWT6P8
