Full nodes count bounced back up which is nice to see. LN capacity dipped below the psychological level of 5,000 BTC for the first time since 10/1/23 after that big spike up from ~4,700. We topped out at about $5,400 at the end of Nov. and have just drifted down since. Not sure this metric makes a ton of difference at the current stages - More important that we're using the capital more and more in addition to growing capacity. Still interesting to note big swings in the network 'size' - Price has an impact on this though as well obviously. Less BTC required as fiat value increases as much as it has since Oct.
Addresses all tick up, good to see. I'm VERY curious in watching these numbers in the coming months after spot ETF approval. I still don't like it but that's neither here nor there. I'm a free market guy at the end of the day.
Lastly, we can all laugh at my routing node activity again. It sure isn't easy to run a node and not lose money but I still do it, not sure why.
Cheers on getting back to the short work week for some, finish it out strong! Oh, and the #runningbitcoinchallenge kicks off tomorrow so I will be getting my runs in over the next week!

nostr:note1cud8h8hsyvtplrezh5vvqh6pkpjesxdh3u43q20mxcpr27q76ljqlqzzt0 $44,729 for the 2023 high, not quite but closer than I imagined being at $27k when I posted this. 2024 could suprise many - Bull or bear, I haven't made up my mind yet honestly

Fuck yeah
Agreed first concerning thing about Bitcoin I’ve seen since over half the hash rate when offline in May 2021
One more day until the #RunningBitcoinChallenge kicks off to support the ALS foundation!
I’ll be running a half marathon between 1/3-1/10 as part of the challenge and urge anyone to support a great cause through running and/or donating to the ALS foundation using the link below. Sats and fiat accepted.

Thanks for the response? Any tips on what to adjust them to?
Bitcoin miners - Is it normal for my S9 to be autotuning for 17 hours w/ no progress? Still only around ~5 TH/s hash rate and it shows none of the fans are working on Braiins homepage although I know they are. It was 'tuned' already but then I had to move it around so unplugged and plugged back in a couple times and not it seems like it isn't making much progress. Is there something I can check or something I can do to help speed this up?
Is it normal to autotune for so long?

GM. Beautiful morning to sit in the woods and try to land some venison before the season ends
Great question I don't know the answer to but am curious myself. I feel there is a lot unknown about UTXO management and I'm speaking primarily about myself as a Bitcoiner for multiple years

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas w/ loved ones. Not a lot to speak about this week outside of my crashing routing node activity (volatility in this section still continues to impress) and almost a 2% decrease in full nodes. I'll keep an eye on the full nodes stat next week, often times it is just a matter of when I pull the data and that number bounces back to average the following week.
Hashrate continues to rip! It's never ending, up another ~7%. Price feels heavy but that's probably just me. Shitcoins are ripping, feels like we need a good flushing across the board heading into the new year and halving. I wouldn't mind a retouch of the all important $28k - $31k level yet doubt that will happen.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Years to everyone on this beautifully decentralized network. Cheers 🎄

Can I use Alby with the new primal or no?
GM nostr, I hope today starts off well for all
