We did continue the increase in LN capacity, albeit ever so slightly. LN node count slipped down again but barely. Will continue to monitor.
Quite the week regarding price action. A weekly hammer candle had us trading down to $56k and back up to barely finish the week green, kinda wild. Lot's of spot demand down there in an area that was previously spot supply last cycle. Good to see!

We're back for # 43! Quite a bit of change this past week in the network, all good things from what I can see! Full nodes did indeed bounce back after the big drop last week. Probably some error in the data / timing of when I grabbed the number last week but we're continuing the trend higher and on our way to 20k! Probably a bit of a meaningless stat because I know we can't see all the nodes on the network but I still love following the trend, especially while it's trending up. The more people running the protocol, the better.
We actually saw a big shift in LN activity from trend - With increases in both node count and capacity for the first time since I can remember. Will pay close attention to see if we can follow through at all in the coming weeks to break the continued downward trends in LN nodes and BTC capacity on the LN.
Address counts all trend up, hashrate up, price down. Price/hashrate at lows we haven't seen in quite some time - Time for some smash buys?

Back again this morning for another report, the first after the halving! I'm curious to see how this impacts hashrate and our price/hashrate metric over the coming weeks and months.
Full nodes have taken a big drop, almost 3%, after what appeared to be consistent growth for a couple months. We've seen some big swings in this metric that bounce back the next week so will be keeping an eye on this one.
Nothing new in the LN network, continued # of nodes coming off the network (or moving from public to private?) and no real influx of capital to note. It sure feels like the network has been stagnant for a while but let's see what these fees (and how long they last) will do for seeing some larger changes in LN over the rest of the year.
Good to see the largest increase across the board in all address counts, that I can remember at least. Price seems to have put in a bottom last week, let's see how long it takes to really reach price discovery or if we keep churning (and accumulating!!!) for the next month or so.

We’re back! 41 reports now, I missed my first week ever last week as we welcomed into the world a second little girl. Everything is going very well and I feel very blessed.
