Whether efforts are intentional or not is up for debate, but current monetary and fiscal policies are hollowing out the middle class creating an ever-growing divergence between the “haves” and the “have-nots”

Financial repression, holding interest rates below the rate of inflation, will ensure that over-levered middle class people will be wiped out.

Interest expenses will form a higher component of weekly budgets, while those will investment properties navigate rental moratoriums.

Even still, rental prices surge to beyond affordability for most wage earners.

Excess cash flows will disappear. Savings will erode in a last ditched effort to save the house or investment property.

Wages will lag behind the rate of inflation, eroding purchasing power and evaporating excess cash flows.

The passive-investment funds we have been educated to use will implode. Rotting away retirement savings.

The CBDC narratives build a false sense of security in the use of cash. People advocate for holding cash, thinking they are fighting the system, while their purchasing power erodes.

Eventually, people lean toward government for salvation. It will be the perfect opportunity to introduce the CBDC and global adoption will not only be accepted, it will be celebrated.

You will rely on the government stimulus to feed, clothe and shelter your family. The dependency will not be optional, but a necessity for survival.

Governmental controls will now easier as they control the populous through the monetary system. See China for examples. Not to say they will, but definitely that they could.

All this is true, unless of course, you stack #bitcoin.

Bitcoin truly is the only path I see forward for wage earners to protect themselves.

It is the ONLY asset outside the control of central planners that is accessible, usable and storable for every day people.

Bitcoin is hope, it’s not just a meme. It’s reality.

The weird thing I notice about some of the people who state they are most opposed to identity politics, is how ironically -- and seemingly unknowingly -- they are enmeshed in extreme forms of it.

If your personal identity is tied to a belief system of any kind, and you consider attacks on that belief system to be a personal attack. And, you tend to constrain your personal relationships to people who share that belief system, you are simply part of identity politics. That is what identity politics is.

It doesn't really matter what the belief system is: if it's progressive or "woke" politics. Or right-wing populist politics. Or even if it's categories like bitcoiner vs nocoiner -- if your personal behavior, and community behaviors fit the definition I laid out in the second paragraph, then you are participating in identity politics.

And yes, identity politics is pretty bad for anything resembling a functioning pluralistic society.
