The podcast that preaches how Bitcoin is connected to the coming of Jesus Christ. It's a fascinating subject, and whether you're a Christian or a Bitcoiner or both, it has something for you!

You have my regards for outlining the biblical proof that it was indeed autumn! Luke gives more details of the circumstances, which if studied in conjunction with history, can yield the exact date. (And 9/11 is disproven on those grounds, even if the Luciferian's have fun with it.)

Actually they made two or three calendrical mistakes, depending on how one counts them. Maybe it's not as impressive as I first thought. But still...

Wow, the Luciferians are SO CLOSE! They just made a calendrical mistake (which they might have made on purpose)! I am astounded that they apparently knew the date at least as far back as 2001 before anyone else that I am aware of. The devil is a better historian than the Christians. My reward goes to the first person who can correct the error of the Luciferians!

This #Bible text fits yesterday's #Bitcoin sermon very well:

The Lord reigneth; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad thereof. Clouds and darkness are round about him: righteousness and judgment are the habitation of his throne. A fire goeth before him, and burneth up his enemies round about. His lightnings enlightened the world: the earth saw, and trembled. The hills melted like wax at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth. The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory. (Psalm 97:1-6)

Yeah, I got you. I meant "funny" in that twisted sort of way. But you're right, not actually funny. Now you got me curious to look up that date on the Hebrew calendar to see if the Liciferians actually have the date right in some form......

This is not a bad logical estimate based on the apparently agreeable weather for the shepherds, but it turns out to be incorrect. (It was in fact autumn, not spring.)

An open thank you to all bitcoiners.

I had to stop listening to a podcast from Hidden Forces today. It finally recognized it for what it was - the same doom and gloom it always has been… "The West is failing, government is failing, society is failing etc”. No answers, just more identification of the failure. Definitely not any solutions there.

I switched over to my list of bitcoin podcasts. More nostr:npub1hrnt73hppyc5v9h7ynnv0cn90yd97t6we9dw32s46ug845jsm33sktjsct , nostr:npub1s05p3ha7en49dv8429tkk07nnfa9pcwczkf5x5qrdraqshxdje9sq6eyhe , nostr:npub1a2cww4kn9wqte4ry70vyfwqyqvpswksna27rtxd8vty6c74era8sdcw83a and nostr:npub1s5yq6wadwrxde4lhfs56gn64hwzuhnfa6r9mj476r5s4hkunzgzqrs6q7z Pysh... and even nostr:npub14mcddvsjsflnhgw7vxykz0ndfqj0rq04v7cjq5nnc95ftld0pv3shcfrlx - yes even Pedro. Why? Because there is a hope in bitcoin. Maybe that is partly because we seem to have turned the corner on the bear market but mostly because bitcoiners are optimistic, building and moving forward.

Devs are creating new apps and fixing and improving old ones. Bitcoin philosphers are, well philosophizing (looking at your nostr:npub1mz704n7dsaw3jcj3kr5le45n97tqughyt5lxe3yv3xy3025hv3dsp5tl8g , nostr:npub1jdwujjpaxmeyg44fz5xa87yhtrnvg8lzqnv9hprk5sdkx6h58gjqwtujzl and Parker Lewis to name a few). Meetups are getting bigger and more people are taking their first steps into the bitcoin network. Meanwhile the Plebs are out educating and orange pilling every day.

Bitcoiners are hopeful and optimistic. We know there are problems - we’ve identified a host of them and we are working to fix what we can. Sure we might be bickering over what hardware wallet is truly FOSS, bitching about ordinals and debating mining protocols. But we are building and moving forward anyway.

Jeff Booth is right - there is no point in living in the old world. You simply feed it by engaging with it. Even listening to the old world is tiresome. I’ve moved into the new world, a world with Bitcoin and I don’t ever want to go back.

Burn the boats.

"May you live in interesting times" is an interesting expression, sometimes referred to as a curse.

Many of our best stories, from literature to shows to movies, are about horrible times. They're about conflict, and people overcoming that conflict. And our heroes, both real and fictional, are tied to those times.

And yet as people with lives and families, we don't want to live through those times. We don't want to live through war, oppression, or conflict. We don't want to have to be the ones to stand up and tell some more powerful force to go fuck themselves. We'd rather read about others doing it, and how cool that was when they did.

I continue to view this period of time as "interesting" in the historical sense. The 1990s were probably the best recent time to chill, but it wasn't where history was made. The 2020s and 2030s are not as good for chilling, but from looking back in the future, it's these times where the bulk of the historical content is likely to be focused on.

For some regions, it's outright war that they're dealing with now.

For the majority of other regions, it's instead a cultural war, and an economic war. And it's going to get worse before it gets better. Do we fund those who are at war, and if so, which side? What values do we subscribe to, and who is "we"? How do we determine truth, and with what framework? For breakthrough tech, who gets to control it? Should it be centralized and regulated, or open and accessible?

And more directly it's about stepping up and saying, "It's good for people to be able to own and transfer money without state control and state dilution. And it's good for people to be able to communicate how they want to without the state silencing them. Even when they buy things and say things that I disagree with." That won't be an easy battle.

Someone on Twitter sarcastically asked me today what army defends Bitcoin. My answer was:

"The army of encryption and energy spread around the world.

A shield, not a spear."

The same is true for Nostr, in a slightly different way. The developers and relays, and the people willing to use it and finance it, are what defend it.

Communication and value are the two key components of free commerce. All of those people today who build strong shields for communication and value are living in interesting times and contributing to them in a positive way.

Well said. Love it.

Right. Here's 10,000 sats to the first one who replies with the correct date of Christ's birth. (*Offer invalid when Bitcoin price skyrockets, lol)
