A zap in which x Satoshis go to a 3rd party institution, organization, sovereign wealth fund, mutual company, or charitable trust that I rate highly for purposes of my web of trust filters, will have a greater efficacy as valuation metric, and will be recognized as such by those I value most.
Kinds are centrally chosen. Posts, lists, and feeds are organized by user choice. One could say kinds are varied enough to allow for that choice, but even if so, the client's choices predetermine what options will be viable, in context. All that to say, I don't know. But open standard consensus questions and historical wisdom can't be ignored. Who wrote the essential works on these topics already?

And can zaps be optionally accompanied by an emoji anyway? Proof of work and proof of more specific intent, or for other purposes as may be determined by market.

I don't know how many ways she meant it but if there are people who can improvisationally say thank you to an individual and the universe at once, in a second language... or perhaps that is just what reflected from her honesty and pure intention...
