I had a similar night, but only because I scratched my own eyeball with my own fingernail on accident yesterday and it hurts and it's leaking and I still can't sleep. Attempting self-medication.

Wow, just tried to play Halo Infinite on PC (game pass). Let me back up, I've been playing PC games since the 90's and I'm very familiar with tweaking the settings and making games run good, and let me tell ya', there is no fixing that.

I updated my video drivers, tried every setting and the presets high medium low and even turned the resolution wayyyy down, uninstalled the high res textures, vsync on and off, turned shadows down, turned antialiasing down and every other slider that exists in that game and there is nothing I can do to make that game not run like a hot bag of shit.

Funny thing is I played the campaign at launch on the same PC and it ran fine, literally the only difference now is newer drivers.

2 years later and it runs worse than it did at launch. Completely unplayable.

My only reasonable assumption at this point is that 343 doesn't give a fuck if people play that game.
