Here's 2 newbie Alby questions:
1. What are the green arrows on the left of the tips? (and thank you for them! I promise I will figure out how to do likewise)
2. Some of sats have a gray arrow on the right...what are those?

Have you tried fermenting them? https://culturesforhealth.com/blogs/recipes/fermentation-recipe-lacto-fermented-daikon-radish-garlic
Today turned in payment and work request for a book cover. My next book is all about how to homeschool without (a) losing your mind and (b) robbing your kid of their childhood. I've graduated four homeschoolers so far and I'm confident they're gonna do all right in the world (even if we never finished a complete textbook).
(Post attempt number two...in case you see duplicates).
We get a lot of our food outside of the grocery store...farmer food drops in town (like this pic), CSA, bulk buys, independent meat producers...I like knowing our farmers/producers and they like knowing me. If you need help finding local food, the Weston A Price Foundation has local chapter leaders all over, and they keep lists of what to find and where.

In 2011 i went to buy just one cat. When i got there I found these two together. They came from a litter that was dropped off, they never knew their mother. When i heard their story I couldn’t separate them so I adopted them both. Penny and Sheldon. They were inseparable, Sheldon was a goof, and she was the level headed one, always looking out for him.
One day I left the roof door open and Sheldon left, never to return. Penny was never the same after that. She became reclusive. I think Penny blamed Vanessa. She hisses whenever shes around. She hates the world. She hates the move… but the end of the day I think she’s just a softie who misses her brother 🥲

oh this makes me so sad, same here...one brother gone, one brother left and very sad :(
I've never heard of a solar fountain! What a good idea, I'm going to look into that.
This is definitely a goal of mine. I'm a newbie so I'm still learning all about it, but I'm excited about the possibilities and it's great to hear how others are doing it in the marketplace.

Beautiful craftsmanship
I agree! That's what I had for supper tonight, too!
Ahhhhh that scares me! Getting our first piggy ever this month!
One year into our new-to-us property and I'm still learning what's already here. Like this--a full grown American Hazelnut! I have zero idea how to grow one or harvest...but I'm gonna learn (propagation, here I come!) Do you know what's already growing on your property and how to use it? Lots of "weeds" are actually food and/or medicine. #grownostr #growfood
Paid $25 to have someone buck up this tree for me. Moving forward includes hiring out what you cannot or don't want to do. You don't have to do it *all* yourself. #grownostr #alternativeheating #firewood #chiptherest

Thanks so much for taking the time to answer!
I see it! Craziness!! I'm so excited! My first ever! Thanks so much!
Looks like it! There's a red icon showing and a number underneath. Would I look into my Alby account? (I'm still trying to understand it)
Thank you yes! 1. Do you make your own biochar? And 2. Were you able to find a local market for your propagated plants?

Another #fun #family #project, #traditional educational, #homeschooling, or #homesteading activity is using Soapwort for #soapmaking. If it grows in your area, it is easy to identify and collect right now. It can be used fresh or dry and only requires the plant and water (distilled preferred). Just did it tonight! Brand #new thing for me. I'm excited to try the final product. Check out the link for into and recipe.

Nice! I'd love to try soapwort sometime; I'm just using lye and coconut oil. I'd like to learn how to use my own woodstove ash, too. Thanks for the inspiration.
I have no idea if I did this right. Am I set up for zaps and sats now? Through Alby
