I just leave them outside on the plant until they are dry. However, I just read about green coriander and the different ways that you can use it. So, I went out and picked a few. Some of them were great, others not so much. If you try them, I would recommend getting younger ones. Once they started to get a little dry, the husk was tough.

I have been picking off hornworms the past few days. They are in the family of Lil Fuckers, which includes ticks, cabbage worms, squash bugs, squash vine borers, flea beetles, deer, raccoons, armadillos, rabbits, moles, voles and a plethora of other species that I regularly discover. I keep thinking I got them all and then I find more. Today I heard one clicking for the first time. Somehow that makes them even more gross. 🤢

I got an advertisement for kalette seeds. I didn't even know they existed and now I NEEEED them! 🌱💚

In spite of this year's floods, drought, and heat wave, the garden is thriving. This is the first time I have actually gotten a blue hubbard to grow! And I have several! I hope they make it to maturity!

I finally figured out what you were talking about with the reactions. So I can see my likes and zaps there. I was never a Twitter person so all of this is new to me.

Thank you. I also can't see who liked my posts or who zapped me. If I touch the number by the heart it just makes me like my own post. And if I click the icon by my zaps, it just takes me to the screen to give myself zaps. Thank you for working on it to make it better!

That is correct. I have 2 goals: 1. To eat at least one thing from the garden every day. 2. To have this year's garden pay for next year's seeds. So, at the moment, I am still taking my first steps to see how well my stuff sells and I don't currently have plans to expand. Today was only the 2nd farmers market that I have had food in and unfortunately it was a holiday weekend. Apparently most people were on their way to vacation somewhere and just wanted watermelon and corn, not my kale and chard. So, I only sold 2 packets of basil. Most folks around here like the "classic" vegetables and I like to grow more unique things. I will keep trying stuff out and see how it goes. I am not growing things specifically for the market, I am growing it for my family to eat and anything extra that I sell is a bonus. If I did it for profit, I would end up hating my hobby that I dearly love.

Ugh!!! So this morning, Iris turned my light theme to dark and it will not switch back. And, now I can't click on the heart to see who liked my posts. It just makes me like my own post. Anyone else having this issue?

We have a tiny farmers market and it is totally free to set up. But, I didn't want to have my own table, so I spoke to the lady that organizes it and I just bring her my stuff and she sells it for a portion of the sale. Other than that, I just grow what we like and whatever is extra is what I sell. Although, when my tomatoes get going, it will be a different story because I love growing them and I planted a gazillion. So, from the beginning, I am planning on selling some. Plus, I may have to set up my own table then because I hope to have so many.
