So my issue with uploading and seeing images on amethyst seems to be related to vpn. With vpn turned off, no issues. I tried switching vpn location to Germany, and that works for me, I use Mullvad on phone. In case this helps anyone else. I fight vpn all the time. I hate having to go in and shutting it off for some tasks. I end up just hotspotting with my phone for the singular tasks.

Well, the poor little fella is gone. So, six of eight eggs hatched. Two ducklings have died within the first two days. The remaining four are eating, drinking, and splashing in a pie plate of water. Let’s see if we can get through the next couple days with no excitement.
