I went to see Diane at the hospital this afternoon. She was doing better than yesterday. She is now 95 lbs / 43 kg. Her husband told me she has been removed from the transplant list. Her weight is too low and her general health too poor to survive the procedure.

She has been on the transplant list for two years. She is at the end of her struggles, hence discussion re: Hospice.
My good friend, Diane, is dying from liver failure (not alcohol related). I found out that she was admitted to the hospital, is jaundiced, combative, and confused. Her family is talking Hospice. Even if she pulls out of this hospital stay, she will not be healed without a liver transplant. University of Virginia handles her case. I went through the initial donation process, but was not approved.
Donors can be living or deceased. Please look into it. Someone out there needs help.

This is the wall between the master bedroom and living room in Ramsey House. The floor has fallen away from the wall due to termites and water damage. 
This is one corner of one room where Mr. Holstein found termite damage in Ramsey House. This was behind paneling. 
This is the Ramsey House. We always name houses. LOL Ramsey is the family name of the woman we bought it from. There is extensive termite damage. The walls are leaning, and the floors are collapsing. No salvaging this one. So, while we wait for a roof in the dog house (rain delays) we have to empty a two story, four bedroom, two bath house.
