The current U.S. administration is not waging a war against Venezuela.
It is carrying out an operation targeting the criminal network known as the Cartel of the Suns, which the U.S. considers a terrorist organization embedded within the Venezuelan state.
What is the Cartel of the Suns?
It is not a traditional cartel like Sinaloa.
It is a criminal network operating inside state institutions, made up of:
• Army generals (the “suns” are their military insignia).
• High-ranking officers from security and intelligence agencies.
• Certain political figures within the Chavista regime.
What do they do?
• Control cocaine trafficking routes to the Caribbean, Central America, and Europe.
• Use state institutions as protection, logistics, and cover.
• Launder money through PDVSA, gold from the Orinoco Mining Arc, and regime-controlled banks.
• Finance political machinery and influence networks inside and outside Venezuela.
Who has documented this?
• The DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration)
• The U.S. Department of Justice (DoJ)
• The United Nations Independent International Fact-Finding Mission on Venezuela
• Evidence submitted in cases linked to the International Criminal Court (ICC)
It is organized crime at the highest levels of the Venezuelan state.

What is happening in #Venezuela2025?
Venezuela has been under the Chavista project for 26 years, first with Hugo Chávez and now with Nicolás Maduro. During this time, the regime has progressively dismantled all democratic guarantees:
• Disqualifies opposition leaders to prevent free elections
• Outlaws political parties and blocks candidates
• Persecutes and jails dissidents — political, student, union, and social leaders
• Shuts down independent media and censors digital platforms
• Prevents over 5 million Venezuelans from voting, both inside and outside the country
• Uses violence to suppress protests
• Has created the worst humanitarian crisis in our nation’s history
In 2024, despite all these barriers, Venezuelans voted overwhelmingly for Edmundo González Urrutia as President.
He won by more than double the votes. There is documented evidence of that victory.
But Maduro chose to steal the election and destroy the democratic process.

Venezuela lleva 26 años bajo el proyecto chavista, que comenzó con Hugo Chávez y continúa con Nicolás Maduro. En este tiempo, el régimen ha ido desmantelando todas las garantías democráticas:
• Inhabilita a opositores para impedir elecciones libres.
• Ilegaliza partidos políticos y bloquea candidaturas.
• Persigue y encarcela a disidentes políticos, sindicales y estudiantiles.

En 2024, a pesar de todas estas condiciones, los venezolanos votamos masivamente por Edmundo González Urrutia como Presidente.
Ganamos con más del doble de votos. Tenemos pruebas documentadas de la victoria.
Pero Maduro decidió robarse la elección y destruir el proceso democrático.
