My curiosity about the new Meshtastic 2.6 UI served as an excuse to pick up a T-Deck. I suppose I can also rationalize this as a testing device, but really I just think they're cool.

The SenseCAP T1000-E Meshtastic client device arrived today!

The form factor is great, and setup was simple. I brought it along to dinner this evening and it was able to discover several nodes. I need to read up a bit more about the preferred Austin Mesh config and hopefully be able to make a first message contact.
