There are many opposition parties, I am not an expert but seems that in this election the main opposition is a coalition of parties some of which haven't participate in previous elections because they didn't recognize the government. They agreed in participating in this election and to recognize the results.
I would say there isn't black or white here. The USA has been trying to overthrow the government forever for its own interests, but also big parts of the population hate the government and fight in the streets against their supporters. At the same time after every elections the opposition claims that they were a fraud but never gives any proves, and the elections always had international recognition. Will this time be different? Maybe
