IMO it would be way cooler if they would focus on attracting foreign brains by establishing special economic/autonomous zones.
They got so much nature and unused land that it would be easy to fit in some private cities or self-sovreign city states.
They are already in the EU, but does still not have the freedom-to-move thingy as the rest of the EU has percieved Bulgaria to be a little too corrupt...
Many Bulgarians also wants to join the Euro fiat currency in the hope that it will bring prosperity to their country.
I think future devs/maintainers will be happy to find at least some grave yeard archive of sorts, to be able to understand legacy code 👻
