By every metric, the killing of the young woman in Charlotte, N.C. was more brutal than George Floyd's death. She was not a violent felon nor in the act of committing more crimes when she suddenly found herself bleeding out on a train following a knife attack from behind. Buffalo, N.Y. — Cheektowaga Police have released bodycam footage of the Aug. 13 police shooting death of Hugh Davis Jr. Davis had an active warrant from an incident where he allegedly assaulted a hotel superintendent, causing a brain hemorrhage. The victim remains in a coma at a local hospital. Davis swung a knife wildly at officers, nearly striking one in the neck, while they attempted to execute the arrest warrant. His family is demanding answers, with some members quoted as saying, "Everybody knows him (Davis) as a jokester," and, "He was a very fun person."
