"I downloaded OPA the very first day it came out and couldn't be happier with the product . Finding other Bitcoiners to connect with IRL is difficult . I connected with two guys who lived close by about two months ago and we really hit it off . We met up at a park with our dogs and have been hanging out together almost every weekend since we met up . We also started a group chat where we talk about all things happening in Bitcoin and our personal lives in general and we talk in the group chat everyday . I had plenty of online Bitcoin relationships but was lacking in friends who shared the same passion as me to hang out with in person . It's really amazing what OPA has built to be able to connect with each other without having to wait for few and far between meetups . I can honestly say that OPA has enriched my life more then any other app I have ever had . Other then the two guys I hang out with from OPA I also talk to other people who don't live so close by on OPA . It's awesome to be able to talk to people about their outlook on BTC and share resources . Alot of people have their own niche of Bitcoin that they are really drawn to , for me it's the how BTC is energy optimization technology. I'm a huge energy nerd but I love talking to other Bitcoiners who are fascinated by other aspect of BTC like the technical aspect, freedom money , ethical monetary policy , the list could go on and on . The UI/UX is very user friendly. I see so much potential in this app and the small fee OPA charges is definitely worth it . It's such a simple concept i can't believe no one has thought of it before but the OPA team executed extremely well . Keep up the great work guys all of Bitcoin thanks you for this amazing tool"

Since we don't deliver pizza, 🍕 we use approximate geolocation, which means you can be anywhere in a 10 miles radius. The distance we show you from another user is rounded up, randomized, and can be turned off by the user.

Sure you do. That is your whole business model. If you can somehow convince @Jack to join, all I have to do is pay 100k sats and I will know where he is when he is using the app. Do you think he wants to let some strangers know his location? And if he turns off location data at all times to protect privacy, then your app is just useless. Just be honest, “bitcoiners” is the product and your business is selling them to some other supposed “bitcoiners”

OPA taught me and networked me more in Bitcoin in one month, than I had previously had a year into the space, the snowball effect really did wonders, I met with #[6] learned about lightning and Breez more than I expected, now my family is opening a restaurant tomorrow and it will be the first one to accept BTC here or atleast one of the few, all thanks to OPA

It's early, yet, and some take issue with the paywall, but the net effect is a very dedicated group of Bitcoiners. I've met some great ones as a result of OPA, and we've invited even more to #[5] from the app.

Do I think OPA should be integrated with or even built on nostr? Absolutely, and I've been strongly encouraging in that direction.

Well Orange Pill App led to me going to my first meetup and starting a regular Ohio meetup that didn’t exist before so that’s pretty cool

My experience with @orangepillapp​ has been nothing but positive. We’ve added people to meet ups that they didn’t know existed and added extra headcount to Bitcoin events that we have held. Very positive experience and like anything it is new and will only improve.

I have actually met a lot of people on orange pill app.

It is great for organizing meetups.

Its a social networking app, not a social media.

It is in no way a compeditor for nostr. Its actualy kind of works complimentary with it.
