most bitcoiners imo understand the timechain is an inefficient way to store data. Of course it still needs time to understand nostr, but with Bitcoin one laid some groundwork already: Public key, private key, many different clients to access it, etc. it then is definitely a bit messier than Bitcoin in other ways. :)
if you already get Bitcoin, it'll take you at least an order of magnitude less time to get nostr... is that a fsir assessment? Is Bitcoin a gateway drug for nostr?

The day has come to delete my social media accounts.
I started today, 5th nostr whitepaper day, with deleting Facebook and LinkedIn.
Announced the deletion beforehand and got in touch with people Ibwould like tobstay in touch with. Also downloaded all records for future purposes.
Twitter and WhatsApp will follow soon... still migration work to do to reduce the social impact of leaving these platforms.

You could start with nuking the accounts thst you are not addicted to and continue the year after with one of those two accounts. :) Just an idea :)

🚀 On Sunday, a team of Bitcoin Runners took on the challenge of a trail marathon relay race and won!
The prestigious event takes runners along an ancient route connecting Salisbury with Winchester in the UK. More than 1,000 runners participated, and the competition was fierce, with nail-biting drama at the second transition as the top two relay teams sprinted neck and neck through crowds of cheering supporters.
The team, consisting of Alex (captain), Dylan, James, and Rich, went on to complete the race in 2:45:27, setting a new course record!
It’s our 4th year participating, which makes the win even sweeter.
Bitcoin is gaining positive recognition despite FUD. This is more than just a future global reserve asset — it’s a movement of people, and we’re winning! 🏆

We finished at the Maisinger Seehof, where we all sat together for a while. It's the only place in the region accepting Bitcoin payments. We drank & ate.
