I think there's a lot of fossil fuel energy required in the set up and maintenance of renewable energy projects as well. I could be wrong, but I think these projects typically require tax funds being appropriated to them to remain above board ,(i.e. they rarely if ever become profitable on their own). The exception may be nuclear. Small nuclear facilities may have a chance to augment fossil fuels. In the end, we are dependent on fossil fuels fir the time being and most renewable projects should be considered setbacks, as they waste funds and contribute little.

I went through the above list almost exhaustively. Without the need to set up my own node, I was unable to find a non-custodial wallet that will allow my the use nwc to link to #alby.
If I decide to set up and maintain a lightning node, I'll do it through alby. I was hoping to avoid this, but it might just be good for me to figure it out and play with.
Although #Coinos is custodial, I should say that I have been very happy with the ease of their setup. Everything is working fine and I am linked in to alby (avoiding a paid solution)... and since I use it exclusively for Nostr zapping, my wallet only has about $15 of #btc anyway, so I'm pretty much fine with it being custodial.
It seems like #Mutiny (not on the list above) would have been a perfect solution as they were non-custodial and had nwc capability, but they are discontinuing their service.

It's awesome to hear that others deal with more than me. I've woken up inside dreams without realizing I was still dreaming. I've come out of body twice, seeing myself asleep. I've got a funny fucking story about handling thus experience inappropriately. Maybe later if you're interested I'll recount the tale.
I think so. I often end up so paralyzed with fear when a dream goes sideways. I'm all grown up and still freeze when the doorways to the underworld open. And they open all the fucking time.
