Happened to ours in our van a few years back. Apparently somebody tried to break in before by trying to pry it open at the top. Window held but when I moved it the next time a few days later it shattered as well.
They asked for 2.50$, I told them to make the invoice for 4$... because they accept #Bitcoin. 😂🤙
