Ouch. I’ve mined a 6 char already but will keep searching for that 8 char regardless… could always get lucky πŸ€

Maybe I'm being overly ambitious. I think Snowden said his pubkey took a few days and his is only 7 chars.

Trying this on my laptop but I think I'm going to run it on my Ryzen desktop as well.

The github (https://github.com/grunch/rana) has pretty good step-by-step guidance on how to get it running using rust. Should only need to run a few commands (one to install rust, and the one to install rana).

If you're really allergic to the CLI there is also a web based one which will hopefully not steal your key :D https://hitony.com/nostrogen/

Playing around with the nostr.wine and filter.nostr.wine relays. My relay list is now looking super clean, with just my paid relays, my own umbrel relay, and filter.nostr.wine with ?broadcast=true. If I can keep my relay list nice and short like this (although no doubt I'll add some more paid relays) while using the filter relay as my gateway to the free-relay-verse, that would be a fantastic solution. Nice work #[0] and #[1]

From the WoS main screen…

Just paste the plaintext… like this lnbc210n1p3730wgpp5ut47f0g6ew79cvavgxfcpmvs8h0dyqmfftp3zn4uf3hzzs5uwt6qdqu2askcmr9wssx7e3q2dshgmmndp5scqzpgxqyz5vqsp565wx09spvtfklxcgnszjwl6l7vsqcy3djadkjcqeer82czmd7gtq9qyyssqk08k2gql7lgnhhyfmj2gghmc4zq347mm4s3djtuvveqyels69y392dn9us2p3a2vu44y07td7pctpve49dh4gspyyrn5n5z8hrq2kccqejyz5w

You’re all going to be so disappointed when the πŸ‘½πŸ›Έ turns out to just be another shitty Huawei spy balloon

Was just thinking this today. Feels like a new era is starting.
