Gonna zap like a madman this Christmas.

That's good. I'm guessing everything is hashed/put through a neural net to check for known offending material? Hope you guys are looking after your mental health, seeing that shit can't be good for you.

I think tech "hopping" is a common nerd affliction. I'm terrible for it. In particular I can't seem to stick with one:

* Nostr desktop client (snort, nostrudel, coracle, ...)

* Nostr iOS client (damus, primal, ...)

* Text editor (vim, micro, cotEditor, ...)

* Browser (Safari, Vivaldi, Firefox, Brave...)

* Notes app/PKM solution (Apple Notes, Obsidian, ...)

* Linux distro (Debian, Fedora, Mint, ...) [although I'm mainly macOS these days I still play around with Linux and the BSDs a lot]

* VPS (Linode, Vultr, ...)

There are probably others I'm forgetting. Anyone else? It's such unproductive behavior but it's hard to control. I stick with a particular choice for a while but inevitably I'm overcome by the nagging feeling that there's a better solution out there I should be trying.

Ayyyyy Merry Christmas Eve everyone πŸŽ„πŸŽπŸ‘ͺ

11 days from now is the 15th anniversary of the #bitcoin genesis block.

What are these strings on some nostr notes? I'm seeing them in noStrudel but not in Snort or Damus. #asknostr

I've been browserhopping again recently and I've landed on Vivaldi for now. Really amazing set of features on desktop, great customization options, available on all the OSes I use and a decent iOS app as well.

In 2009, Studio Radi-8 released a Half-Life 2 mod called Neotokyo. They commissioned an OST from a guy called Ed Harrison, who went approximately 10x as hard as he needed to given the assignment, and produced a post-rock double album which is absolutely packed with bangers. Makes great work music. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=mssx2AEmmW0 #tunestr
