“Apps genius” - Colleen. I used to work on making Twitter a bit healthier, then that all went to hell. Now I make puns and indie apps @redpandaclub. Born and raised New Yorker, just trying to do a little good and be the friend you made along the way. 🐶 🍕 🐱 Formerly @mergesort on Twitter, now @mergesort or @mergesort.me on Bluesky.

3/4 Pinned Folders & Tags solve a related problem, I want to quickly access important folders and tags, without digging through screens and menus. I’ve pinned my Daily Games Tag for my morning routine, and my Reading List Folder, for when I’m ready to read in bed. I’ve even got a Colleen tag pinned (❤️), to instantly find the links I’ve saved for my wife.

2/4 I save links all the time, and I'm almost always saving them *for later*. I save articles to read in bed, videos to watch at lunch, and recipes for a weekend dinner. All of these are useful to me *at a specific time*, which is solved by the new Reminders feature. I used to add all of these links to Apple's Reminders app so I could get a notification when I needed it most, but now everything is handled in Plinky — no additional apps necessary.

Phew, well that's a relief. Coming to you Monday, September 16th, Plinky 3.0. 😌

I see we're right on time for my quarterly existential crisis about AI taking my job. https://twitter.com/cognition_labs/status/1767548763134964000

No I will not tell you how many browser tabs I have open, yes it’s because I’m very embarrassed.
