Keep calm and stack Sats. Bitcoin only. Don't trust (even me), verify. This is the way. Schadenfreude commentator. Meme apprentice with no guild affiliation.

I won't disagree.

But without the VC money, I could probably just ignore them. And the bug.

That's why I want to to see their payday interrupted. BRC-20 exploit is on my Christmas wishlist.

Ordinals aren't actually the problem.

VC-backed griftfluencers pumping them unnaturally to exploit ALL other stakeholders for their personal gain...

Is the problem.

Can I be a "chill pirate."

When given the opportunity, always be a pirate.

I still say the best solution to the ordinal hemorrhoids is a skilled black hat to exploit BRC-20.

I think the grifters are paying their VCs on the back end.

A major exploit should shake the confidence of retail (such that it exists) and VCs alike.

No forks required.

Nor this bitoin in the ETF.

They're REAL, they're just not yours.

I don't see the answer any different, currently.

I'd just add the nuance that it's VC-fueled grifters too, not just kids.

I'd honestly love to see a BRC-20 exploit as a disincentive for the degens. Not that it would stop all of them.

Can we reach their stakeholders, the people they are most directly scamming?

This cycle there's both a clear retail and clear VC component.

If we can expose them, and their house of cards, maybe their marks won't be fooled?

Hmm. πŸ€” Do we need to do any fortifying of relay operators first?

I'm all for this. πŸ”₯

I just don't want to see any more unfairly in captivity/exile like Ross/Julian/Snowden.

It's certainly not ideal until we get better regulatory clarity.

I wish my normies were tech literate enough to orange pill directly into P2P currently.

We'll keep using these providers until we can't, constantly withdrawing funds to cold storage.

And we'll keep training our normies to up their game (and our own.)

Some day, Bitcoin will have to earned instead of bought. So the theory goes.

If only the state wasn't disincentivezed against mesh.

Governments spent tons of money building highways and railways.

This would give them better hardness against attack, but it could also be freedom tech.

It's a big lift for private citizens, but I'd love to be wrong.

I also don't live the idea of statist spooks building freedom tech. Too many backdoors and kill switches that way.

I'm having trouble gaming this out.

I tagged Antpool on DedBird, asking "what? You guys don't like fees?"

The BcashSV empty block miner had a clear incentive: the fees didn't amount to anything worth the effort of including them. Winning the block reward made more sense at the exclusion of fees.

It could be just a natural technical goof. Part of the mining header scheme (article). Or there may be some political statement Antpool is trying to make. I'm not sure what the real answer is.
