Meshtastic pumping out buggy updates on a daily basis now. Progress I guess.
Had a conversation yesterday with a guy flying around Central Coast at about 1500m. Had signal all the way to Newcastle just about.
Successfully tested a 17km link from VKEDS in Ettalong to the suburb of Bayview (Kara crescent). Linking Central Coast and Sydney. Now to make it more permanent.
After updating to 2.6.x firmware I can say the mesh experience is both more reliable and less reliable at the sane time. More messages get confirmed now, but also less results from traceroute. And the app is buggy as.
This weather will be really pushing those solar nodes to their limit. Can't remember the last time we saw the sun.
Node back online after a bit of a break. Had to bundle a raspberry pi after remote firmware update failed with previous set up.
