#[0] if a developer does a PR for a Lightning wallet on Bluesky, will Paul merge it?

Ive always struggled to fit into the bitcoin crowd.. to be honest

I’m more of owning something tangible..I can control myself .. why I don’t do stocks etc..

I’ve always felt vulnerable when I’m not in charge of my future..

I know bitcoin has this feature.. long term.. but I struggle with it as it’s not profitable for me now.. just a savings of sorts.. and doubt my country will ever be on board..

#[0]​ is fighting the good fight over on BS today. Not going to lie it is hard to watch, the amount of ignorance and hate really about nothing that should be controversial. It’s funny the difference between nostr and BS. He is getting attacked for spreading hate on an “app” he owns 🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️ Clearly most people over there don’t understand what a protocol is. Also the ignorance around Bitcoin reminds me where most of the world still stands on the subject: misinformed and lied to.

But through all that, it almost makes me think there is an opportunity on BS that nostr doesn’t have. The AT protocol can be a Trojan horse for decentralization, and expose people to the value of an open protocol and hopefully Bitcoin (pray for zaps). I think nostr is about a year ahead, if not more, but at least it’s something to get more people out of the walled gardens that are Twitter and instagram. Nostr is relaxing, BS is not, but I feel a responsibility to try to be on both. And it seems like #[1]​ might be doing the same…at least today he is haha

Bluesky vibes are so different than nostr. So much anger in Bluesky, just an evolved form of Twitter in the end.
