First: 𝗕𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗲. There will never be more than 21 million, and 𝘢𝘭𝘭 of them can only be acquired through 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬. You have a limited amount of time and labor that you can use for providing value to others, so it follows that the representation of your time and labor — your 𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘺 — should also be limited.

Additionally, Bitcoin’s disinflationary nature rewards those who choose to save the fruits of their labor, and carry it into an uncertain future. When people save more than spend, 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲’𝘀 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲, making the prices of goods and services 𝘧𝘢𝘭𝘭 in relation to each sat. This allows for inventors and entrepreneurs to build the future, and for society to thrive!

𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

As the 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 digital money with no single point of failure or control, Bitcoin has become less like a technology, and more like 𝗮 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲.

Bitcoin is run by 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘺 users around the world, and is governed by its 𝗰𝗼𝗱𝗲, 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗺𝗺𝘂𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝘄𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝘀, so it can 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 be co-opted by greedy individuals or entities. Because of this, it acts as a hedge against human corruption, malevolence, and incompetence.

And third: 𝗕𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗼𝗺. Bitcoin resists censorship, is nearly impossible to confiscate, and empowers individuals with the ability to save their time and labor for the future. For anyone who wants freedom in their future, 𝘉𝘪𝘵𝘤𝘰𝘪𝘯 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘣𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘩𝘰𝘱𝘦.

Remember, however, that 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗱𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗼𝗺. You can easily custody your own bitcoin by simply writing down 12 or 24 words, but if you ever lose those words, 𝙣𝙤 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘦 𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘢𝘪𝘭 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘰𝘶𝘵. You might be tempted to leave your bitcoin on an exchange, but that leaves it vulnerable to hacks and theft, to say nothing of rehypothecation.

Bitcoin teaches its users personal responsibility, and puts their own wealth into their hands, but the full weight of consequences comes with it. 𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲, 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗼𝗺 𝗕𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀.
