So I had a clear headed realisation today that we can choose not to become our parents, becoming them or like them is not inevitable, we get to make different choices. That made me incredibly happy and hopeful.
Probably super obvious to many but not something I had considered until now.
Also I don’t know, some people here I would want to meet IRL but others not so much….

It’s really so pointless isn’t it? Nothing happens or changes so we know it’s rigged. So home isn’t great right now so it’s easier to just go out.

I remember for a very long time it was stuck at USD20 per fine ounce. Seems to have taken off a little 😁 but jolly heavy to carry around unfortunately
Today is voting day in my country, I’m going to vote as a social event and seeing what’s happening rather than believing it will change anything.
I’m our country it’s customary and normal to happily chat to random strangers in line or the supermarket or anywhere really. So voting is much more than that, it’s a chance to connect to fellow humans.
