10/31/08 White Paper. 01/03/09 software launch. 12/13/10 Satoshi vanishes. 2017 the block size wars. 2018 the Lightning Network launches. 2023 BlackRock files for a bitcoin ETF with the he SEC.
Bitcoin is here to stay.
Bitcoin is money. 
#Mendocino 's economy declined after 1940, and it became an isolated village with a shrinking population. The revitalization of the town began in the 1950s with the founding of the Mendocino Art Center. (Wikipedia.)
In 2023 #bitcoin was adopted as a local currency. (Me.) 
Lately, we've been falling down nostr:npub1qny3tkh0acurzla8x3zy4nhrjz5zd8l9sy9jys09umwng00manysew95gx rabbit hole and we're genuinely curious why somebody so outspoken on the value of #bitcoin communities hasn't joined #orangepillapp yet?

Based on Odell’s recent interviews with @NatBrunell and Pete McCormack he has caution around centralized platforms.
On IOS I’ve set it so that OPA asks if it can use my (approx) location each time I open it and I always choose ALLOW ONCE. So as far as I know I’m only giving location data when I use the app.

Is gold getting more expensive or are dollar’s getting cheaper?
(Thinking about the debasement of currency.) 
Telling my neighbor the national debt is over $32T, that the interest on the debt accounts for almost a quarter of tax revenues, that the Fed will need to print more money so the govt. can meet its obligations and that all this drives the continuing debasement of the dollar.
Telling my neighbor about #bitcoin and how it’s an alternative financial system that regular folks can use to opt out and preserve our purchasing power.
Waiting for my neighbor’s response to all this. 
It rained a little last night. I need to feed the cats. I must get some motor oil when I go to town today and a few things at the grocery store. I might have time for a walk on the headlands. I’ll need to get that firewood out of the truck before I go.
