#Mendocino, California back when roads were dirt and men were men. This Northern California community spent eighty years as a logging community and the last ninety years as town for artists, hippies, urban refugees, pot farmers, drifters and tourists.
Why do my friends who see that I have been able to stop working because I have enough #bitcoin reserves (not a huge amount but a cushion)…why do these friends still not show the slightest interest in bitcoin?

#Bitcoin self-custody is still challenging. We need an ‘iPhone launch’ moment for bitcoin self-custody to go mainstream. We need a technology that:
- has hardened security
- is recoverable no matter what
- has a simple UI

I’m sure there’s a lot of work moving us in this direction and can’t wait to see what innovations will open the floodgates for bitcoin self-custody.
