I think it's a govt psyop. They planted the narrative in some bots/influencers/Mockingbird accounts. Spread this fear bs. This in the hopes of leave it all to civil enforcement under the illusion of choice. People were conditioned for it. But now they can just point and say "We didn't mandate shit. We didn't lock shit down. People took the responsibe choice and did what you right wing nut jobs wanted-- personal choice". That way they have new ways to target "terrorists" and rabblerousers.
