I'm back home now after a month in Bhutan. Still have a few terabytes of pix and vids to crunch. Feeling a little "all at sea", with my head still stuck somewhere between the Himalayas and home.

Where it all started:

Before I took this picture back in March 2022, I was not a bird photographer. Seeing this Long-tailed tit hooked me in, its such a beautiful bird and since then I have seen 100's of beautiful birds I'd never appreciated prior. I would say this is my first birding photo.

Inside the house were staying in, in Alnwick. Really nice house lovely lady we met last night who let's it out made us really welcomed. So this is the base this week as we explore the coast up here , local towns and gardens.

I just love Cosmos. I met a very nice gardener two years ago who only lives a few blocks from me & she has been kind enough to allow me to photograph flowers in her garden (thus the #gardenvicariously in my bio). Last year she allowed me to harvest some seeds from her beautiful Cosmos. I started the seeds indoors in early spring & this is one of my first blooms.
