I stack therefore I am

Ross better get freed

Hate or don’t hate Saylor. MSTR is a monopoly on bitcoin for fixed income ATM so price will remain impressively escalating until that changes

Small Module Nuclear Reactors are not economically viable. Tons of examples of this. Like all electricity matters it’s mostly the regulatory framework that creates the cost, a little the technology. https://www.utilitydive.com/news/nextera-ceo-not-bullish-on-smrs-as-company-assesses-potential-duane-arnol/730855/

Electricity/Power Utilities are more entrenched, corrupt, and wasteful than most elected governments but unless you work with them you would not know. In regulated states where they are granted a monopoly, they are normally the top or in the top 3 of lobbying funding. It’s gross and wish more people understood, but it’s really just incentives playing out over time. We need to have more market competition (ignore the lobbyists telling you the grid will fail without the utilities keeping their monopoly). I expect electricity prices to play a significant factor for inflation going forward, since new power plants are needing to be built for first time in decades due to demand. NGU.

It’s more than electrons - your body is a mechanical system and placing a soft layer in between your foot and the ground distorts the pain signal in your foot that normally prevents you from placing too much stress on your joints. Over time leads to back, knees, etc problems upstream - especially if not walking/running on soft ground like soil.

there is plenty of ideas about it, related to a thing called the Galactic Current Sheet

this is the galactic scale form of this:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heliospheric_current_sheet

it is a massive magnetic alignment propagation across the gases and celestial bodies with magnetic permeability, and it oscillates 360 degrees on a fairly predictable cycle, which currently is around 6000 years per 90 degrees

this is causing a reduction of the protection from radiation and plasma from space and the sun, which is leading to increased cloud formation, increased ultraviolet penetration to the surface, and ultraviolet radiation increases ice melt rates

there will be a continuing very small rise in temperature because it causes increased cloud cover but the same phenomena is going to limit increase of temperature and at a certain point when the field gets weak enough, it will result in massive increases in wind speeds, vulkanism and seismic activity, not to mention size and scale of electrostatic discharges (lightning)

just go look up the current observations of jupiter and venus regarding wind speeds and the loss of atmosphere of pluto and record storms on Saturn and Pluto

Interesting I’ll take a look. Here’s the paper correlating sun activity and showing it looks to match climate https://arxiv.org/pdf/astro-ph/0310823 as with all scientific papers read it in reverse

Remember this has to be looked at over hundred of thousands of years. Do not draw conclusions over <100 years. This was same issue that caused us to get excited about the “hockey stick” in temp when in reality we just enabled satellite temperature readings and they differed a lot from the ice cores that provide the hundreds of thousands of years of data.

Let’s be clear. The globe is warming, but there’s no solid link to humans causing it, and most reasonable evidence points to the sun (or we have no idea). The point here valid but it’s not a pass to generate energy from Coal because there’s overwhelming evidence it kills the people, land, air, and water around us. But yes the idea that Carbon is bad and we humans are causing this is beyond absurd.

What happened to us that we need this kind of labeling?

I thought you starve on Rabbit meat, cuz too lean. There’s nutritional value?

Distributed Solar & Batteries are how we start to decentralize the grid. Monopolistic utilities are a lot of times worse than governments, in terms of corruption.
