Hope you guys cover this on the pod soon, I'd like to learn more and understand if this is a reasonable protocol to use for bitcoin privacy
For sure man, that is ridiculous!
Equally ridiculous, our current president/administration deported an illegal immigrant to what amounts to a one way (aka life setence) to CECOT in el salvador. This, despite a judge having ruled years ago that this man could specifically not be deported to el salvador.
This is a case where bitcoiners specifically could apply pressure (given he is in el salvador) to have this man returned to the US so he can face the music in court and be reprimanded by the justice system appropriately.
I've heard crickets from bitcoiners around this. Not sure why. Completely understand illegal immigration is, well, illegal. However, it does not carry a life sentence to a gulag according to current laws.
Despite Trump playing innocent and saying he has no control over the matter (claims it is up to Bukele), everyone and their mom knows one phone call from him is all it would take for the man to be returned to face justice.
I may have missed it as I usually listen to nostr:nprofile1qyf8wumn8ghj7cnfw3ehgctrdvhxzursqy28wumn8ghj7cnvv9ehgu3wvcmh5tnc09aqqgy9hk6cwhs38hxfjjvtgarrv3ycsthptgw8s922kp7qvk68xwwkwg05kxcv when I'm out and about, but have either nostr:nprofile1qyv8wumn8ghj7urjv4kkjatd9ec8y6tdv9kzumn9wsq3vamnwvaz7tmjv4kxz7fwwpexjmtpdshxuet5qqsqfjg4mth7uwp307nng3z2em3ep2pxnljczzezg8j7dhf58ha7ejgqgzx3h or nostr:nprofile1qy0hwumn8ghj7cnfw33k76twd4shs6tdv9kxjum5wvhx7mnvd9hx2qg4waehxw309ajkgetw9ehx7um5wghxcctwvsqzq3e0gs8jnmued6f2rp4c6vs07xqvs4vs8zpwt82smcdch4txjvq76kl2yj commented on Trump and the guy they sent to the el salvador prison and/or Trump wanting to send US citizens there as well?
I know we talk a lot about freedom in the context of financial freedom, but this seems like a break glass type of moment because once they get you on a plane out the country, they just shrug their shoulders and say "sorry nothing we can do about it" even if a US court says it wasn't right.
I'd also love to hear if nostr:nprofile1qy0hwumn8ghj7cnfw33k76twd4shs6tdv9kxjum5wvhx7mnvd9hx2qg4waehxw309ajkgetw9ehx7um5wghxcctwvsqzq3e0gs8jnmued6f2rp4c6vs07xqvs4vs8zpwt82smcdch4txjvq76kl2yj sees the "cabinet meetings" on tv as more than the who can deepthroat trump the best contests that they appear to be to me.
Lastly, Trump seemed to truly believe that the photoshopped MS13 on that dude's knuckles are real. He argued like 5 times with the reporter (even though the reporter kept trying to nicely change the subject) that the guy has that tatted on his knuckles. Are the ppl around Trump just telling him what he wants to hear and is he truly that misinformed? Or is he blatantly just lying?

That reminds me of something a mentor of mine told me early in my career if I was stressing about something.
"Are you going to even remember this moment in a year?"
That was fake news, which was verified by this bounty: https://x.com/ob_hodl/status/1300429481711153152
Thanks for sharing! So it sounds like I need to do some studying into wasabi to start using it
just catching up on the news. so the president tried to convince a reporter several times that the photoshopped ms-13 on that guy's knuckles is real?
is that an AI video, or does the president actually believe this?
I don't know much about the new wasabi, but wasn't there something floating around about flaws in the previous version that allowed the coin analysis ppl to de-anonymize it?
You know at some point the right is going to try to send american citizens to a foreign country gulag. Like you just know it lol
The author of this image values alone time. I value social time. Because I'm almost always alone.
It is hard to increase your "social" as an introverted single adult. But this isn't obvious because childhood and school throws so much social at you that you learn to take it for granted.

100% relate to this
i've heard web3 out of the trump kids mouths more in recent history than californians... guess its catching on?
mallers the last several years: i live off bitcoin and all my networth is in bitcoin. i don't hold fiat dollars, i don't believe in dollars. i don't believe in anything but bitcoin.
mallers 2025: buy my spac thing. it'll buy bitcoin. you buy shares of my company. you can't have any of the bitcoin. you may get some fiat gains though so buy it anyway.
when you sit around wondering what trump is doing with this tariff stuff, because it doesn't seem logical, just reference back to his book

in the words of nostr:nprofile1qyv8wumn8ghj7urjv4kkjatd9ec8y6tdv9kzumn9wsq3vamnwvaz7tmjv4kxz7fwwpexjmtpdshxuet5qqsqfjg4mth7uwp307nng3z2em3ep2pxnljczzezg8j7dhf58ha7ejgqgzx3h - 'mandibles'
do you think we are heading there in the next decade or so? if you believe in the 4th turning, it seems like a non-zero possibility
who will impose massive tariffs further distorting free market pricing and increasing taxes on its citizens to further impoverish them!
lets revisit this in 10 years and then again in 20 years and then again in 30 years if we both are alive then!
You concluding that a "population collapse" is inevitable, is hysterics
I don't see how the world avoids a population collapse at this point.
The actual numbers are pretty clear; the world was rugged by money printers and all of it's gnarly knock on effects. People are living for themselves now, just to limit misery.
The ruling class seems to be seizing the moment by expanding automation and looting nations by selling governments wartime upstarts like genetic experiments, geoengineering, fake food, and digital crowd control systems.
Malthusians have only poured fuel on the fire by undermining fertility via dietary poisons and environmental estrogens, even exploiting pandemics to accelerate death and destruction via vaccines and lockdowns.
Central banks have made people so poor that RFK Jr has to focus on sugar and food dyes because nobody can afford a food economy without seed oils. Housing is made out of popsicle sticks+chemicals and people can't afford those either.
What will remain is a fairly large peasant class and a more exclusive, moneyed population.
This is the least talked about subject but it is probably the single most impactful thing happening right now.

> Today, globally, women of childbearing age have an average of approximately 2.2 children over the course of their lifetime. In pre-industrial times, most women could expect to have somewhere between five and ten live births throughout their lifetime; however, the demographic transition then sees fertility rates fall significantly. Looking ahead, it is believed that the global fertility rate will fall below replacement level in the 2050s, which will eventually lead to population decline when life expectancy plateaus.

ahh the right wing's version of climate change hysteria crops up again
