Nobody, and I mean nobody, comes close to his brilliance and his skill in Humanity.
Maybe you could start reading a sample of Guards! Guards! or Wyrd Sisters, which are already in the "mature" phase while still being side-splittingly funny, to see if his paragraph-based approach works?
