Okay, let me clarify even more. :D

To this date, I have not been able to watch more than 5 minutes of a TV series, which I did to test Jellyfin weeks ago the first time, because it just bugs out at some point & cannot do anything, even after waiting hours just to see if it "finishes loading" as in good old YouTube days, where they would actually pre-buffer the entire video, given you waited enough.

So, as of now, Jellyfin is utterly useless to me, except for spoilers by automatically downloaded thumbnails, even though I disabled that feature during first time setup.

However, whenever I visit some Jellyfin Reddit to see the answers to a complaint similar to mine, people downvote the crap out of the complaint & say something like "it works for me, though", so I just assumed something's wrong with my setup.

Now, I'm starting to wonder, whether there's actually something wrong with Jellyfin & those downvoters are just fanbois who don't realise that their server is super powerful & can handle Jellyfin. ๐Ÿค”

To be honest, after so many years of experience with a big bunch of different #RaspberryPi models, I can tell out of experience that the #microSD card topic is way overrated in the #SingleBoardComputer community.

In my experience, you either get a bad card & it breaks within 2 weeks or you get a high quality one & it runs for many years. Some are still running great after 5 years.

It's easier to control you, when you don't take responsibility.

Being extremely lazy & just looking for instant gratification makes you give away personal responsibility more & more the longer you are lazy & just consume, without doing something about your life.

The guys up there would love us to just hang out all day, watching ads & consuming based on what we saw in those ads & most importantly keeping our mouths shut.

#Wayland isn't just about gaming or some fancy features. The reason we needed #Wayland is because #Xorg is the like worst possible solution that could've been made for the domain it handles.

It has so many limitations, negative quirks, bugs & unfixable design decisions... It's just overall utter crap. I can't believe people are still running this.

#Xorg should've been banned 10 years ago.

You should drop #Xorg as fast as possible. #Wayland is already the way & it keeps getting better.

That said, #Wayland can run #Xorg apps due to a proxy thing.

#Xorg can't run #Wayland apps.

#Xorg is a piece of shit, btw.

Earlier in #nostr some people were actually considering buying a #purism #librem smartphone for freedom purposes.

If you're thinking about the same thing, I urge you to reconsider. At these point you're better off rooting your own #android device and installing #lineageos or #grapheneos or #calyxos yourself.

And you will actually learn something!

Oh, I thought the link would be linking to the original video exposing the Purism scumbaggery with refunds, but the story apparently goes on! :D

If you are extremely disciplined & ready to kick your ass every day, without gathering excuses like birthday or hospital, you can learn it without any course you have to go to. You can also learn it by yourself. It only works though, if you actually learn it every single day for months to get all the basics & years to extend to advanced levels of communication.

Am speaking out of experience.
