i was looking at different options like matrix- it just felt a little klugey for my use case- a step above irc but not necessarily all the matrix bells n whistles inbuilt - i also dont like the banning of certain rooms for instances etc🤔- that could easily go wrong- ive seen it in mastodon with the fediverse bs🤷‍♂️- anyway- once i set up a poc ill let u know how i make out! ✌️
