As an educator at heart, I wonât ever stop teaching in some form or another. One thing Iâve learned about life is that someone somewhere around the world will want to learn.
So, fast forward to now. Other than doing consulting work under the right terms and conditions, my focus is on my ministry.

Fun Fact: I started teaching at the collegiate level as an adjunct at the age of 23. Fresh out of graduate school at the age of 22. After becoming full time faculty, I stayed in that position for many years.
In 2019, I bowed out gracefully and walked away with no desire to return.
Why would someone so accomplished and distinguished just leave after so many years? I didnât get fired. I wasnât about to get fired. Everyone was shocked to find out I was leaving.
Well, I had 13 reasons. I wonât list them here. But just know I have NO regrets. I left formal higher education on my own terms.
And turned my attention to teaching about God.
Iâm an educator at heart. I can teach for free or for $1 million. And I have my reasons as to why I would do it for both. Then there are times when I request a specific amount to simply showcase a point.
More importantly, theyâre grateful and thankful for when I give small lessons or even offer some online resources.
As I travel the world, I see a lot more people who value education. They want it. They have a desire to learn. Theyâre hungry for more. Of course, not everyone feels like this. But a lot of them do.
What gives?

Every time I get into teaching mode and donât receive a zap, I honestly laugh. Am I bothered? No, it just proves one of my many points and Yâall make this too easy for me.

Me: Well I have many points but one is the following:
If the slogan is âvalue 4 valueâ and my educational posts arenât zapped, then it clearly shows people donât really value education. Even if given the opportunity to showcase p2p situations without using a centralized entity like a school or university that determines my value with a salary, what will people do?
If education wasnât centralized and socialized, how much value will people see in it? Especially American society.
As I look at American society, Especially the youth, Iâm concerned about the future. In addition, there are unfilled jobs. Throw in AI to automate other jobs And what are people going to do especially if they lack the knowledge and skillset?
Sometimes I ask myself if I am really witnessing the fall of an empire happen before my eyes?
