A brief look at a useful resource: The Simplicable color guide. While the site itself is written with a distinct whiff of being more for SEO bots than humans, its list of colors with hex codes makes for a good resource.
I followed the instructions on new modem's quick start card to log into its admin panel. Or so I would have if the instructions were correct. Now I did find a solution, but call me controversial for saying that the quick start guide instructions should be... accurate.

On July 4, 1888, Benjamin Harrison informally accepted the Republican nomination for President while receiving the Republican National Convention's committee on notification at his home. On the same day, he also received a group of veterans who had served under his grandfather (the 9th President, William Henry Harrison) and were working on his behalf. Harrison of course would go on to win the 1888 Presidential election in November over the incumbent, Grover Cleveland.

I first saw BLOB DYLAN graffiti in Bushwick, Brooklyn, in January 2021. That was only the second time I had been to Bushwick. I had neither returned to Bushwick nor seen BLOB DYLAN since January 2021... at least until May 26, 2024.

After breaking my Hario v60 coffee glass (it had a good run after several more short-lived v60 glasses), I opted for replace it with a plastic double-walled Tervis mug. My early impressions were positive and it is still working very nicely for me. I need to test its outdoor lid on a walk.

I wrote several articles on the detailed portrayal of hair color in the recently concluded A Sign of Affection anime adaptation. So many articles, in fact, that I have one covering the evolving hair color of one of the show's secondary characters, Shin Iryū.

Thanks for the kind words. I was very briefly excited when I read it back in 2002 but I had enough experience with game magazine April Fools jokes by then to quickly see that it was a joke. However, while I remembered the original magazine, I only learned while working on the article that there were actually discussions about Sonic and Tails in SSM. Perhaps if Dreamcast had fizzled out a year earlier.
I revisit a 2002 April Fools joke from Electronic Gaming Monthly. Coming off the heels of Sega's becoming a third party publisher, EGM falsely told readers that there was a way to unlock Sonic and Tails in Super Smash Brothers Melee. I remembered having read the joke in the original magazine back in 2002. I did a bit of research and was surprised to learn that there may have actually been talks about Sonic in SSBM, albeit Sonic's debut would have to wait another six years.

My full review of ACE Academy -- a Japanese-inspired original English language visual novel by PixelFade Studios. The player takes the role of a college student studying to become a giant robot pilot. As I explain in the review, the novel ends up focusing more on romance than robot fights, but robot fights are included.

Flood of Tears was a 2001 freeware Japanese visual novel that was officially translated into English in 2006 by Insani (it remains freely available and can be run without difficulty on Windows and Linux). It clearly drew some inspiration from Kanon, but it has its own charm. I very much enjoyed one of the two routes while the other was solid, but less than the first. Its endings leave many unanswered questions, but it still comes with my recommendation.

I do not use Google Chrome (Firefox with Arkenfox primary, Brave secondary), but I stay abreast of what is going on in Chrome world. I read about Chrome's plan to integrate its AI language tool into the browser and came away with some doubts that Google's plans will contribute to making the internet a better place.
