It definitely was a nail biter. I thought for certain the Bills would pull it out of the fire, but no. Great Game! 
It’s been cold and raining, with a dash of hail in Santa Barbara. We definitely need the rain. The hail is unusual but not unheard of here. It seemed like the perfect day to turn out a loaf of #sourdough pretzel bread. I just watched the #Nosferatu movie remake. The all-star cast gave a stellar performance. It was deeply creepy and a bit gory, but a little slow. I didn’t care about the characters and it just wasn’t scary. They had all the pieces to make a great flick, but somehow dropped the ball. 
I live about a hundred miles away from the fires in LA, but I can smell them and the air quality here is crap. I can’t even imagine how bad it must be close to the blaze.
Happy New Year: We didn’t exactly party the night away, but we stayed up eating treats and junk food until midnight to bring in 2025. Maybe getting behind the wheel was a bad idea? It appears the vehicle flipped over a curb while turning. This happened yesterday morning shortly before noon. One thing I REALLY dislike about the Holidays is all the drinking and driving. Bad Optics: I have to preface this by saying # UCSB is replete with solar panels and it wouldn’t surprise me to learn all of these AC units were powered by green energy. #Sourdough Pumpkin Bread: I was going for a pumpkin form, but things didn’t quite work out. 😝 I’ve made it before with instant yeast and got a better shape, so maybe the sourdough is to blame. 😂. My #dog was having a serious case of 'keep-away' during fetch. A helpful friend suggested switching to 'The ball, drop it!' instead of 'Drop the ball.' By first highlighting the ball and then giving the command, we've witnessed a paw-sitive change! Not perfect, but I did get a little “bread ear” out of this #sourdough. The loaf’s white and red whole wheat, oatmeal and a bit of rye.
