Why do we say GM?

Right now I'm building these nightlights together with my kids. This is a work in progress. Will update it. It is planned to make a wooden hinge and to paint them. For the electric 💡 I use old li ion from my old Makita battery. Will have a better light system from a damaged night lamp and hopefully also a usb charging plug. That is the plan so far. Let's see how far it gets.

I've a question.

When all the btc is mined, would it be a good idea to change the way the blocks are mined? If nobody has to do millions of operations to guess a hash, more people will be able to mine just by having some device turned on, and the network would expand.

And also if we make an strong device equal to a slow device in those terms (just a peer, not having to have high hashrate) we will have more advantage because people have a lot of devices. Maybe you protect against governments that can invest into high hashrate devices. If all the miners are from someone, this someone can change the rules of the game, right?
