As the evening shower stopped, we set out for a walk in the woods.
At the entrance of the wide groveled trail, we saw two adult deer on the left side. Then, noticed a couple of returning hikers pointing the phone toward the right.
There were a few fawns! They were waiting for the safe moment to cross the trail to catch up with their moms, perhaps.
Here’s one of them. I used the digital zoom, so it’s a bit wobbly. But what a sweet little fawn!

And grow whatever veggies we can in my community garden plot, compost, planted drought-tolerant wildflowers in my flowerbed at home. Coexist with all urban wildlife—they forage in my gardens. Our city collects the food waste. They now offer free-trees to the residents. So we got a baby tree & 2 baby lilacs.
We do grocery shopping on foot most of the time.
Unless it’s over 30°C/86°F, we use ceiling fans.

Probably tmi, but I did suffer for a few days, coughing up some icky stuff. Not fun being infected, however mild the symptoms are.
The respiratory viruses are opportunists. When we let our guards down, that’s when they strike. Back to wearing a mask at the supermarket/etc. because I didn’t get sick while I did.
