Is this just me… been eating 🥩 , butter eggs full fat milk the last week. Working out. Cutting out sugar. I swear my eye sight is getting better 🤪

I also zap about 25 sats on average, but that's also because that's what I tend to receive mostly, so I imagine for me it has to do with price anchoring early on in my nostr journey.

As for zapping I try to pay my zaps forward and zap out anything I earn wasting time on zbd games during a day.

I do fight the urge to horde sats, though I know that if we want this to work we have to spread the love.

What’s kind of intriguing to me regarding #nostr is:

The default, or perhaps average, #zap I see most people throwing around is ~25 sats.

Which is about a one cent $USD.

Yet, how often do we step over a Penny (or even a Nickle or a Dime) waking down the street?!

Why 🤷‍♂️

Why…

1. Are we too lazy to bend over and pick up a Penny?

2. All while being too cheap to #zap more than a cent when we benefit from the value created by another?

That’s weird…I always have new notes to review.

I will say the weekend is slower than the weekday (which is good…hopefully people are spending time with their families)

Also last week a lot of the WOT owners and other Nostr and Bitcoin people were in Nashville for a conference so perhaps that slowed your feed depending on who you follow.

There will be something coming out next years that’s been 18 years in the making. Predates bitcoin. If it does what we think it will do no more data centres. And you own all your data. It’s how the internet was meant to be.

NB: I’m almost a bitcoin maxi. This is the only other project I’m interested in cos it predates bitcoin. There are some amazing devs working on this tech.
