ABE will also grant access to badge holders retroactively, for better or worse. They will get to see history. #[2] #[3]
Yes, with ways to combine groups with ORs and ANDs. It's like a venn diagram builder for accounts to post to. I'm sure bots will send DMs, but that is a lot of traffic because each DM is a separate event.
With ABE, there is only one event and all the right people can decrypt it. Much less load on relays.
I also think that some programmatic badges could be useful. Things like 'OG from 2023', 'super zapper', or 'relay surfer`. It could get a little creepy with audience targeting, but that'll happen no matter what. #[2]
is this not something that nostore already doing?
(it‘s for ios and only in testflight at the moment)
I have used nostore on TestFlight and it works great.
I don't think it is quite the same though. Nostr Connect (nostrum) allows a mobile user to Login and Sign Events constructed in the desktop browser.
It communicates via QR code initially and then Nostr events.
Maybe nostore does this but I've only used it as a mobile Safari extension to hold the key and sign for events on the device.
NIP-58 is for badges, which is pretty cool. I put together a POC for Multiparty Attribute-based Encryption that could be used to send messages decipherable by accounts that meet certain badge criteria.
Such as: "((shit_poster AND influencer) OR (founder AND honor_badge) OR mega_donor))"
I don't know if it is valuable, but maybe, and the crypto works. Thoughts? I can formalize it with a better reference implementation if seems useful.

The UX is typically terrible for multisignature, but Nostr fixes the underlying signature 'rails' to make it a fully integrated and super safe experience.
A simple 3 of 5 looks like this. If any 1 (or even 2) people lose their key, they notify the others and the policy gets reset and the coins moved to the updated policy.
Coinstr is compatible with hardware wallets.
Nostr Connect may also expand to include hardware or air-gapped signing (QR-code only communications) CC: #[3]
Often key loss can be addressed through the spending policy though. You will have a stash wallet or vault that is 2 of 3 of your own hardware wallets for your big stack. Single sig for your day-to-day, and lightning for shopping and zapping.
If a key becomes compromised, the coins can be swept to a new vault with an updated policy that has the new key. (you technically don't 'reset the key', you 'reset the policy')
Yes, precisely.
With really nice dressings for things like Louis can spend from a specific wallet anytime he wants, or Max, Alice, and Bob can spend from it if they all agree, etc. Those are the spending policies that can be authored by users.
Nostr clients are all actually Bitcoin wallets under the covers.
Taproot enables flexible and sophisticated spending policies, or "smart contracts" for multisig rules.
When a CEO or CFO type has a new request to spend money, they can be notified in their DMs and tap-tap-approve.
Super smooth, super safe, and all open protocols.
Here are a few summary slides that visualize it and more detailed info is on the website:

I think the TAM is there but only for bitcoin.
They are going to bury themselves in technical debt shitcoining and building proprietary software.
We are building signature orchestration in the open on Nostr with remote signing using Nostr Connect.
Fireblocks is valued at $8 billion for basically just a shitcoin multisigature wallet with a remote signer.
Miniscript and Tapscript beat multi-party computation and bitcoin is the only one that matters anyways.
