Just a follow up question if you don't mind. Would you consider start9 a hardened OS? If not, would it be best to just download a hardened linux or freeBSD image and set everything up manually. I really want to dip my toes back in and am thinking I will order some separate hardware to put that on and keep it segregated from everything else on my network. That would make me feel a bit more secure about it. I want to know how @jb55 has his node setup. Looked around for a video or talk but didn't find anything immediately. If he has gone this long safely, he must be doing something right.
I don't use ios myself, but think I have heard people talking about damus and nostur both being able to do event signing? Not sure though @jb55 would be able to tell you, he made damus.
I use @alby on desktop as well for the extension and I run albyhub locally. Amber on android and it is awesome. That has upped my mobile usage a lot since I didn't trust putting my nsec in just any app. Especially after I decided to stick to one identity.

I run a monero node and use a hardware wallet. Never worried about that. My biggest concern with my lightning node is that it's a hot wallet and I don't fucking trust my ability to keep my server secure... Or I don't trust the amount of libraries all of the random programs I like to try not to have a shit ton of attack vectors. Wish there was a way to have a lightning node have to ping my phone or an external signing device of some sort to sign a transaction or whatever and store keys separate from the host. That's not possible right?
