Yeah, yesterday was my birthday. I was slightly drunk and swimming in a sea of relatives from circa 10 am to 11 pm. Got hardly any sleep. 😅
It was fun, but now I'm running behind on a bunch of project tickets (I don't just have the software project, I'm also a member of nostr:npub1purpleye8gzrzss99nzqqnemtf7g8xxj8p950nkyknnuqzycuh5qnazkzp and we're organizing a three-day meetup this weekend, up near Frankfurt.

I say don't focus on the follower count of your account. Focus more on the follower count of your users. Your dev team is small and the user amount is, most likely much larger. Figure out ways to incentive your supporters to promote the project.

Well, having nonprofits and investment funds funding the project will always lead to dev teams basing their work strictly on investor incentives. That's also just a rehashing of a typical corporate business model. You know... the kind of business that so many nostr users seen to want to escape from. Point is, that's probably not the best way to fund a freedom of everything protocol.
Btw, I'll promise I'll donate to GitCitadel once I have a better grasp of it.
