Power came back about 20 minutes after I pulled out the fridge to plug it into our inverter.
If that’s all it took, I should have done it sooner.
Had a storm today and the power’s been out for about 2–3 hours. Not really getting any useful info from the electric company’s outage site about when it’ll be back.
But we have some Ego batteries and a couple of inverters for them, so we’ve got options for light and whatnot for several more hours.

I had an ice cream truck in my neighborhood growing up, but it didn’t come to my side of the block. So when my friend and I would hear the music, we’d book it for our respective houses to rustle up some change and run as fast as we could to the other side of the block, hoping we caught the truck before it drove too far away.
It was great.

I don’t understand salted butter.
Why not use unsalted butter and add salt as necessary?
What if you want less salt than what’s in the salted butter? You can’t take salt out of it.
